WOW this is way off? They really love a debate
In the case of global warming, governments will stop at nothing, hold nothing back to establish the scientific validity of yet another variant of the proverbial Big Lie.
"It is not global warming (i.e., CO2 + atmosphere warming + ocean warming) that is causing all this, but ocean floor Arctic Ice-cap volcanism (and elsewhere all around the world - e.g. Popocatapetl and Hawaii) that is heating the oceans and releasing huge amounts of sea-bottom LIQUID CO2 into the atmosphere - while ... increasing the Antarctic ice cap. They have it all backwards. We are entering an ice age. However, there is no political leverage in the real cause, no generous government junk-science research programs, and the U.S. can't be blamed by Europe for its frozen summers to be."
One more thing: There does seem some genuine reason to be concerned about a "mini" ice age setting in, in which case all patriotic Americans and concerned Europeans ought to start digging coal and breeding cows asap. Perhaps the EU could give out tax credits for those industries that produce the most airborne particles, thus locking in the most heat.
